MediaActive’s Adventures with Archives programme champions the creative and community use of archive film, and film archives in the Midlands. Not surprisingly, we were keen to connect to, and draw on this local expertise.
Activity included: artists and community group training sessions, in how to work creatively with archive film Live Cinema events, featuring poetry, music and song, performed alongside screenings of archive films Creative writing and spoken word, using archive film to inspire new writing and performance.
